Aeroexpress are high speed trains which provide fast and comfortable rail connection between the Russian capitaland and each of these Moscow airports.
Aeroexpress owns the rolling stock of specialty AERO passenger trains. Aeroexpress is the first private commuting passenger carrier that maintains its operating rolling stock by itself.
Aeroexpress company provides rail connection between Moscow and airports of Moscow Air Transportation Cluster (Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo). Aeroexpress has become an integral part of the capital’s modern transport system. Given the level of traffic congestion along the major highways, only rail transport is able to provide passengers with a convenient and reliable way of travelling between Moscow and its airports.
The rail terminals which Aeroexpress trains depart from are conveniently located in the vicinity of stations on the Circle Line of the Moscow Metro. Travel time on high-speed Aeroexpress trains is 35 minutes to Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo International Airports and 45 minutes to Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
There are three fares available to the passengers of Aeroexpress:
- Standard: a Passenger is not given an allocated seat. It means that if there is no free seats in the car, the Passenger may stand during the trip. The ticket is valid for 30 days after the date indicated during purchase;
- Business: A reserved seat in a deluxe carriage and a range of additional servicesis are provided for each Passenger. Business-class seats are more comfortable than regular ones. The ticket is valid only for the trip indicated therein;
- Return offers an opportunity to make 2 trips in a Standard carriage. The inbound trip is possible within 30 days after the outbound one, which is indicated in the e-ticket.
