The electronic train ticket is a document, which enables you to travel by train. It is similar to a common ticket bought at the box office, but with many advantages:
- it makes it possible to reduce the time for ticket purchase to a minimum;
- there is no need to print it out or exchange an electronic ticket for a paper travel document at the booking office, you only need to present a QR code on the electronic device screen (smarphone, tablet, laptop);
- there is no need to worry about ticket's loss or damage: ticket details are available in “My account” section, also it will be forwarded to the customer's e-mail, and the file sent in the Passbook format allows you to use the ticket via the Wallet application for mobile devices without using the Internet;
- if necessary, the ticket can be printed out at the booking office by presenting a 16-digit order number;
- it is a full value fiscal document and is suitable for financial statements;
- it enables you to receive an additional 10% discount on INTERCITY+ trains when buying a round trip ticket.
The possibility of purchasing an electronic ticket is specified above the train number on the Tickets.ua search engine result page and when creating the order.
For each passenger, a separate ticket will be issued in the order, and in case of ordering the additional options a carriage document for animals transportation, equipment or extra baggage will be issued too.
In other cases, you can only purchase tickets with deferred printing.
Please note! If there is less than 1 hour prior to the train's departure, you may buy only a ticket with deferred printing via the website, regardless of the train and the types of tickets that were previously sold. This type of ticket must be exchanged for a travel document at the ticket office before boarding the train.
