To buy tickets, one of the following identification documents is required:

• a Russian Federation internal passport;
• a Russian Federation birth certificate (for minors under 14 years of age);
• a Russian Federation international, including diplomatic and service, passport;
• a foreign document issued to a CIS, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, or foreign citizen;
• a seafarer's identity document (SID);
• a military ID.

To travel abroad or to Russia through the territory of the CIS countries with minors under 18 years of age, passengers must have on them all the documents required to cross the  border, including a notarized parental (custodian or guardian) consent to cross the Russian Federation border.

Before you buy an international ticket, please specify the rules and regulations for crossing the border (including transit countries') at respective consulates.
